To make a passport size photo, choose a front-facing photo, pick the photo size for your country, position the crop box around your head and shoulders, optionally replace the background with white, and select Create passport photo. You get the single photo and a print sheet with multiple copies.

Print the sheet at 100% (“actual size”) on 4×6 inch photo paper or A4 to get correctly sized photos.

How it works

The photo is cropped to the exact aspect ratio of the chosen size and rendered at 300 DPI (or 600 DPI), so a 35×45 mm photo is 413×531 pixels. Background replacement uses an AI segmentation model that runs on your device to separate you from the background and fill it with the colour you pick. The print sheet arranges as many copies as fit on the paper with thin cut lines.

Frequently asked questions

What is the passport photo size in India?

Indian passports and many visas use 35×45 mm with a white background. The Online Passport photo upload has its own pixel and file-size rules — check the portal.

How many photos fit on a 4×6 sheet?

Eight 35×45 mm photos fit on 4×6 inch paper with cut lines; you can choose fewer.

Is my photo uploaded?
