To encode Base64, type or paste text and select Encode; to decode, paste Base64 and select Decode. Unicode text (Hindi, emoji) is handled correctly. You can also encode an image or PDF into a data URI, or save decoded binary data as a file.

Frequently asked questions
Is Base64 secure?
No. It only changes the representation of data; it offers no protection. Use encryption for secrets.
Why is decoded output empty?
The data is binary (e.g. an image). Use “Save decoded file”.
