Free online spreadsheet & data tools

Convert Excel, CSV, JSON and XML, clean messy spreadsheets, and turn tables into PDF, Word, HTML, Markdown or SQL.

Which data tool do I need?

How processing works

CSV to JSON and Excel to Word run in your browser. Excel to PDF has an in-browser mode plus an optional server mode. The other tools process your file on our server, which handles large files and Indian-language text more reliably than a phone browser.

Uploaded files are sent over HTTPS, stored privately (never at a public address) and deleted automatically within 1 hour(s). Everyone gets a free daily allowance of server conversions; after that, each one uses a credit (see pricing).

Tips

  • Make sure the first row contains column headings — most tools use it for field names.
  • CSV files in UTF-8 (with or without BOM) or UTF-16 — Excel’s “Unicode text” — keep ₹ and Hindi text intact; CSV files we create include a BOM so Excel opens them correctly.
  • For very wide sheets, choose landscape orientation when converting to PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Do these tools support .xls as well as .xlsx?

Yes — .xlsx, .xls and CSV are accepted (each tool lists its formats). Macros and formulas are not executed — tools read the stored cell values.

What happens to my uploaded spreadsheet?

It’s stored privately while it’s processed and deleted automatically within an hour, together with the result.

Is there a size limit?

Upload limits are shown on each tool (typically 5–20 MB), and very large sheets are capped by rows and columns to keep conversions quick. The tool tells you if a file is too large.
