How credits work
Tools marked In browser process your files on your own device, so they cost us nothing to run and are free without limits. Some conversions — such as high-fidelity Word and PDF conversion or large spreadsheet jobs — need our server. Everyone gets 3 free server conversions a day without an account; after that, each server conversion uses 1 credit from a free account.
Credits are charged when a conversion starts. If it fails, the credit is returned to your balance automatically. You can see every charge and purchase in your account history.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to pay to use FreeToolConvert?
No. Most tools run in your browser and are completely free. Credits are only needed beyond the daily free server allowance and for some biodata and invitation downloads.
How many credits does a new account get?
New accounts start with 10 free credits.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits stay in your account until you use them. They are lost only if you delete your account.
Which payment methods can I use?
Payments are handled by Razorpay, which accepts UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and popular wallets. We never see or store your card or bank details.
What if my payment went through but credits didn’t appear?
Credits are added as soon as Razorpay confirms the payment, even if you closed the page. If they don’t appear within a few minutes, contact us with your payment ID.
